Hi Sue,
My son has been on Cyclosporin since he was diagnosed and there has been no side effects apart from hair growth e.g.legs and neck but you can’t tell unless you really look. He has had one lot of ATG over a 5 day period and vomited once. There are creams now for blood tests to numb the area and you should see a child social worker/pain management for other ways to make having a needle easier for your child and less stressful for you. It also takes alot of your own strength to say to yourself that yes it is an awful thing/s that have to happen to my child but it if it may save their life it is worth it. I am a single mum and I know how hard this time would b for you. Hang in there and I hope I have helped you. My e-mail is corey99912000@yahoo.com.au, so keep in touck and best of luck!
