Hi everybody – haven't posted for a while. My AA doesn't figure large in my life now so I don't visit here regularly, but I'm still grateful for the support shown me at various stages over the last two and a half years.
Reason for posting today is I'm just back from my 3-monthly check-up which shows Hb up to 13.3, whites in normal range and platelets to 129, which is of course amazing since I was on my knees with this thing two years ago – very severe.
Like my Professor said today – 'they say the thing with this disease is that you have to WAIT'.
I guess we all know about waiting : you don't know the true meaning of the word 'Patient' till you've had AA!
