Kathy,
I have not heard of anyone using this therapy for SAA. However, you prompted me to do a search and I came up with some interesting sites. I can see where it could be helpful in some cases of SAA. Especially if the reason for it is bacterial or viral (aka: a stealth pathogen). It also appears to stimulate the increase of HGB and WBCs, and cytokines which play a role in blood production. It doesn't appear to have a downside. I know many with SAA are concerned about overstimulating the immune response, but from what I read, they have used it in autoimmune diseases. I would certainly contact a few the doctors who do this therapy and see what they have to say.
For others interested, here are three sites I found:
http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/immune/ubi.htm
http://www.bio-immuno-development.com/ubitherapy.html
Any other thoughts on this?
Marlene
