Hi! I had a similar problem over the X-mas holidays myself. I had been on Depo-Provera, but still began bleeding heavily. I then began Premarin in an effort to stop it (which worked for a while). I was advised by one doctor to consider a hysterectomy. But, when I told my hemotologist, he said it was too drastic for what he termed as an "inconvenience". After a trip to the emergency room when the bleeding continued, I was given 25 m.g. of Premarin, and stopped taking b.c. I was advised to see a gynocologist to find the right b.c. and dosage for my body.Eventually, the bleeding lessened and disappeared. The trick is, I think, to research various options before taking drastic advice. I think we're on the right track! Good luck – from one who's been there…
